I like way her eyes crinkle when she laughs.
From a recent portrait session with Jackie.
And by recent, I meant three hours ago.
Any reason to not study for finals is a good reason.
I used to do the 52 Week Project.
I stopped like after week 20.
But this is one of my favorites.
Good times.
That one time Sarah and I went to our first gallery opening.
First time my work has been exhibited, and I’m pretty sure the same can be said for Sarah, so tonight was a pretty big deal for us.
Did I forget to mention the free booze and food?
Also, we had hot dates.

Adam, circa 2009
I used to be really into studio work. I thought one wasn’t a really photographer unless they shot in a studio so I went out and got a whole set up; lights, backdrops, everything. It was fun for like 3 months and then I realized that I would much rather be outside and using natural light. But there are a few from my “studio” days that I do enjoy. These are two of them.

Another oldie. I took this early 2009. I didn’t fear contrast in black and white images back then. What happened?
Another salt print from today. I’m loving this process more and more every day.

Today was our second day of salt printing in my Alternative Processing class. Not only was I able to get three prints done, but I got to gold tone them too! And the term “gold toning” is completely deceptive because it creates an indigo tone opposed to a gold one.
